Mission · Vision · Values

Every number in your business is a decision someone has to live with.

Behind every ledger there is a person who signs the checks, makes payroll on Friday, and lies awake on the 28th wondering whether the month worked. We have never met a “small” business. We have met founders betting their savings, practice owners treating patients all day and chasing claims all night, tradespeople pricing jobs off last quarter’s numbers, and executives who need six entities to tell one true story. Each of them deserves to be understood before they are advised. That is the standard NEXACC was built on in 2021, and it is the standard we keep — in Arizona and in every state we serve.

Our mission

To give every business we serve — whatever its size, wherever it operates — financial operations that are accurate, on time, and understood, so that the people who run it can decide with confidence instead of guessing with hope.

What that means in practice

Accurate
reconciled to the penny, every account, every month. Not “close enough.”
On time
books closed by business day 5, payroll filed before the deadline, claims out within 48 hours, notices answered before they compound.
Understood
a written summary with every close, in plain English, that tells you what changed, what to watch, and what we’d do next. Numbers you can’t read are numbers you can’t use.
Every size
the first-year LLC, the twelve-provider practice, the $15M group with six entities. Same discipline, scaled to fit.
Every state
Phoenix HQ, clients nationwide. Same close calendar, same published price, same lead accountant whether you’re in Mesa or Maine.
Our vision

A country where the size of a business never decides the quality of its financial management — where the owner of a two-person shop and the CFO of a fifty-person group work from the same clean numbers, the same calm, and the same clarity about what comes next.

We measure progress toward it one closed month at a time.

What we hold ourselves to

Values are only real if they cost something. Each of ours shows up in a habit you can check.

01

Consideration before advice

We ask before we tell. Every engagement starts with understanding what keeps you up at night and what “good” would look like for you — not with a package. You are not a ticket number or a transaction count; you are the reason the work exists.

Habit: A 30-minute consultation before any proposal, and a scope written around your situation, not ours.

02

Truth, even when it is uncomfortable

Books that flatter you are worthless. If margins are thinner than you thought, if a claim pattern is bleeding revenue, if the entity structure is going to cost you at tax time, you will hear it from us first, clearly, with a plan attached.

Habit: Every monthly close includes a “what to watch” section. Nothing is buried.

03

Calm is a deliverable

The most valuable thing a finance team can give an owner is the ability to stop thinking about finance. We take that seriously. Deadlines are tracked before they arrive, notices are handled before they escalate, and the close lands on the same day every month so you can plan your life around it.

Habit: Business-day-5 close, deadline calendar for every state you touch, one-business-day reply.

04

Ownership, not hand-offs

One lead accountant is accountable for your whole picture — books, payroll, tax, billing, credentialing. When something crosses a line between services, it is still our problem, not yours to referee between vendors.

Habit: A named lead with a direct line. “That’s not our department” is not a sentence we use.

05

Competence you can verify

Trust should not require faith. Our credentials link to the bodies that issued them, our prices are published, our standards are written into engagement letters. Judge us on evidence.

Habit: Every badge on this site clicks through to Intuit, the BBB, the IRS or the USPTO. Prices are public and identical in every state.

06

Respect for the work you actually do

You did not start a clinic to become a billing expert, or a construction company to master multi-state payroll, or a startup to learn ASC 606. We honor your craft by carrying the financial craft for you — with the same seriousness you bring to yours.

Habit: Specialists on each service line: certified medical billers, multi-state payroll specialists, year-round tax planners, senior accountants on every close.

07

Growth that outlasts us

The best outcome of our work is a business that becomes stronger than it needs us to be — cleaner books for a sale, a model that survives a lender, a founder who finally reads their own P&L with confidence. We build toward your independence, not your dependence.

Habit: No long-term contracts. Written summaries that teach, not just report. Lender-ready and investor-ready files on request, any month.

Whoever you are, we’ve thought about you.

Different businesses carry different weights. Here is what we understand about yours before we ever open your books.

A note from the founder
I started NEXACC because I had spent fourteen years watching good businesses make bad decisions on bad numbers — not because the owners were careless, but because no one had ever given them numbers they could trust and understand. Every client we take on, from a one-person startup to a multi-entity group, gets the same promise I would want for my own company: tell me the truth, tell me on time, and tell me in a way I can act on. Everything else on this page is just that promise, written down.
